In developing the "Subtle Landscape" theme, I have borrowed techniques from artists such as Turner and Rothco, using intense colour, simple shapes and the layering of translucent paint. If you would be interested in exploring these methods with me, using watercolour or acrylic paint, you can book a one-to-one painting session with me at my studio in Isleworth, West London. Sessions are booked for a minimum of two hours, and will help you to visualise your subject, create a simple, minimal composition and mix and layer colours to create luminous spatial effects.
