"I make paintings about my experiences of life and the news"
After studying Fine Art during the 1990s, I graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of the West of England, followed by a Masters from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. I wrote dissertations on “The Colour Blue in Art History,” and also “Art and Intimacy” which researched how artists through history have often been inspired to make art by close personal relationships in their lives. I work on a range of large and smaller compositions, often reflecting my love of the colour blue, together with fragments of stories. I exhibit regularly in solo and group contexts in Cirencester and London.
As well as painting, I have many years experience of tutoring adults, helping others to develop painting and creativity skills. Details of my tuition and courses can be found by visiting the Painting Zone website.
