47" x 39" x 2". Acrylic on canvas. My inspiration for this piece was thoughts about rising water levels throughout the globe. I started with a plan to use large areas of ultramarine blue with contrasting sections of warmer, manganese blue. I applied the grey and umber neutral colours to suggest geological forces and shifting sands.
