28" x 22" x 2". Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. This painting took many layers of paint and collage before the eventual composition was established. I wanted to suggest a feeling of being in an atmospheric forest, with watery elements, perhaps a pond containing occasional glimpses of pond creatures. There is a watery reflection catching the rising moon.
